Ahmedabad shattered : Tiffins, Bicycles and Bombs
Blasts rocked Maninagar and many other suburbs of Ahmedabad yesterday evening.
I took train from Maninagar Station- few yards away from 2 blast sites- aprox 30 minutes after the blasts took place.
As I was not aware of the gravity and spread of the incidence at that time, I wasn't worried much. Only after getting news of more more blasts, sense of grief increased.
Initially, phonelines jammed. Purvi Gajjar, a close friend from Australia, was first to call. Other friends & wellwishers followed.
Thanks for all your concern and warmth.
Aftershocks of bomb-blast will continue to rock public life of gujarat.
